Really cool, simple and quick. I’ve seen similar remedies, but this is the first to suggest heating the oil. Hopefully, it works. =) Would you recommend more than a couple times a month? Would there be adverse effects if I did use it more?

I’d stay away from lemon juice, it’s acidic, and acidic isn’t exactly great for distressed hair.
Actually, lemon is a natural conditioner, it serves to clarify oily hair without interfering in its ph balance or drying it up excessively (which is what most shampoos do).
Awsome indeed. Especially after the summer sun dries out your hair. Some recipes for similar treatments add a hint of lemon juice. Is that a good idea or should I stay away form it?
